Nathan used ChatGPT and now his soul is trapped in limbo. But before that happened, he asked the AI to come up with the best adventure hook and… it gave him something. Let’s see how GPT did and give some useful notes on “The Lost Relic of Ages Past”.

JamesTheDabbler gave us a topic on our Discord. It involves using skills and stats to reinforce the setting of a game world. On suggestion from another one of our friends, Dadam, we look at some of the mechanics in The One Ring and how they relate to Lord of the Rings. We also discuss systems we are more familiar with such as D&D, 1879, Warhammer and Open Legend to see how mechanics relate to the settings.

After playing Daggerfall and Above Snakes, Nathan started thinking about how tabletop gaming could utilize procedural generation for maps. Could this revolutionize dungeon crawls? Could we create true exploration in our games? Will we create a giant hallway?
