The Racer (A Song For Lee)
6Back when I was racing, I was part of an amazing group which was the Crest Autosport League. One of the racers was Lee Chorley, a fantastic lad who was always very supportive to his fellow racers and was passionate for life, I only knew him as a racer in our league, I did not know him personally, but he was a nice guy who was always amazing behind the wheel of what ever car he drove in Automobilista2. He set the trend in our group when winning one of the championships by drinking booze out of his wife's boot :)
Sadly Lee is no longer with us and was taken far to young but he will always be remembered as a lovely feller and a great guy to be on a field of roaring engines with. :)
Trying to process the loss I wrote this simple piece of music for him, I am not much of a guitar player by any means but regardless I give him this song, for in my life, this is the only way I know how to say goodbye. Keep Racing Lee xxx
