Long before the movie 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' dragged drag into the spotlight, there was a performer named Carlotta wowing the crowds at Sydney's Les Girls nightclub. The movie was based on Carlotta, who then based her show on the movie. In the late '90s she toured Australia's outback with her all-male revue, and in towns like Broken Hill, they had never seen anything like it.
