The Red Lantern - Revisiting - Stream Archive
0This game has gotten a huge update more than a year after launch and prompting me to revisiting it. For months after release I would hop on for quick runs and to pet the dogs, but I stopped before the update so this is my first experience with it.
Over the past week I have continued playing the new "post" game and have unlocked all the accessories for the dogs. My original criticisms of the narration getting repetitive is still an issue, but the biggest issue is the lack of new encounters. Even finishing each dog's "story" can feel tedious if played as a goal. This remains a solid game for occasional runs (and dog petting), but not a great one for completionists.
