turns out there is *some* gameplay if you die, but it's possible to skip gameplay with good routes

==== stage 7
shoot stuff, get blue and p, nothing else, especially not g
switch to red for a bit, then switch to blue
destroy two buddhas, go between them; do it again
slowly climb the enemy formation, stay left
switch to purple to kill that one guy at the bottom, then back to blue and slowly go down the enemy formation, stay on the right; go to the right of the final gate thing at the end
stay there, get the p, then kill enemies somehow (not with green tho)
get items (except s and g), switch to purple and go up left
---- boss
it will quickly chase you, go up and down a lot, you move faster that way
when it attacks, it either:
* expands and shoots around you
* turns blue and shoots a homing projectile
* turns green and shoots a laser that turns 90 degrees at you
* turns red and shoots right

==== stage 8
stay in the middle, be somewhat high on bouncy rocks
collect the e, it will destroy laser turrets and make the stage end sooner
go up left at the end

go right, left, down, up, right and finish it off

==== stage 9
bottom left corner, that's it
dodge if necessary, seal bullets with the option if necessary

on phase 1 you stay in the corner
on phase 2 you need to make the snake thing smoothly cycle, it can be janky at first
on phase 3:
1. top left corner, shoot the imps
2. go around the boss when it laughs into its bottom right corner, wait
3. when it laughs the second time, go back to the top left corner, shoot more imps
4. go down, shoot the pink thing (that will harm the boss)
5. repeat 2, 3 and 4 in this order until the boss dies
