The River Has Got To Be Crossed | Song A Day #4227
We rode the giant ear into the station
There were storks on the job and frogs on vacation
We got turned around and we found ourselves lost lost lost lost
We tried one door we must have tried thirty
The paint was peeling and it was musty and dirty
Finally we came to a river that had to be crossed
The river has to be crossed
We didn’t have a bridge and we didn’t have a boat
We had our giant ear but it had a hole in it so
Some of us would sink and some of us would float float float float
So the little ones climbed on the big one’s backs
We were timid at first but soon we relaxed
And across that mighty transfer station river we did go go go
