The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) is actually the perfect fit for Black Adam. Really excited to see what The Rock can bring to the DC universe. One of the worst kept secerts, that post credit scene with Henry Cavill.... it was great to see him back! Now if they can get some great writers, the films just between those 2 can have a lot of potential. Even with Shazam! The film stars Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell and Pierce Brosnan. Very interesting characters from these actors. Unfortunately, Atom Smasher looks like Deadpool and Antman. If I was correctly, it looks like Atom Smasher has been around since the 40's? Marvel just beat DC to the punch.
In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed, and Black Adam has gone from man to myth to legend. Now free, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern-day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone.
