The Running Chef AKA the Food Network's Running Man
3In the early 2000s the Food Network, in an attempt to appeal to younger audiences, created the most extreme reality cooking show ever.
Chef convicts serving life sentences from around the country were given a chance at a full pardon, all they had to do was survive against the Food Network's toughest chefs in what was described as Hell's Kitchen meets The Running Man.
Unfortunately test audiences reacted poorly to the over the top violence, and the show was quickly cancelled.
