It has been a while since I felt really scared. Usually a game makes itself scary through music, sound effects, and monsters chasing you. But, when a game uses your own imagination to scare you, it becomes a beautiful experience. Elevated Dread has done a good job at this. You always feel like something is going to jump at you. You always feel like a chase scene will happen at any moment. It keeps you on the edge, and I like that a lot. The scariest game in 2023 so far. Great job developer, you nailed it.
