I decided to not use a cam because it's the main thing causing commentary video issues (& I felt like playing this game with commentary). Can't say my headset mic is that great though tbh, so my apologies for that.\n\nBonus Rules: None, don't know nearly enough about the game & the only difficulty settigns are "Story" & "Normal"...& we all know I'm not someone who picks "Story" as a difficulty setting XD
Follow me on Twitter/X: https://twitter.com/TheTrueHDG\n\nInfo on the game:\nStellar Blade is an action-adventure game developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.\nThe game is set in a fictional (post-)apocalyptic future of earth where humans have lost/are losing a war against creatures known as Naytiba (I'm not sure what exactly they are, I thought aliens, but some of their descriptions make them out more as failed machines, while they also appear to be biological in nature...so again: I'm not sure/I don't know). It's also played from a third-person perspective.\nWe play as EVE from the moment her squad gets dropped into combat...I don't know much else about her yet, other than:
- She has a teammate named Tachy
- She runs around with a drone (controlled by a human named Adam)
- She appears to be either an android or a cyborg
- We're setting out to fulfill her mission: destroy the Alpha Naytiba (after paying back Adam for "services rendered")
This piece of info might be updated in the future, once I know more.
About any controversy & my stance on it (for those who are interested in it):
I'm not angry/pissed about WHAT is being censored, I'm angry/pissed about the fact that the developers straight up stated "there will be no censorship whatsoever" & within 10 days of that statement the game was being censored...so in a nutshell: I'm pissed about the lying, not the extra pieces of cloth.
I also don't understand why developers don't just add an option/toggle for censorship so that people who want it censored can censor it & others can play uncensored...you clearly have both version of outfits & stuff...it can't possibly be that hard to just add a toggle for it to any of the menus (even The Witcher 3 from 2015 (a 9 year old game by now) had toggles for alternate outfits/costume...)(Horizon Zero Dawn had a toggle for the headpiece...it's the same thing/same idea...just add a toggle instead of just removing things entirely XD).
TLDR; Censorship sucks (especially when lied to about it) but don't let it being there be the sole reason you don't play a game. Add a damn toggle for it (when creating you game) to make everyone happy/so neither side can really complain about it. (or add one later so both sides hopefully stop complaining). It's not that difficult.
