Seriously, what the heck?! When I go roaming about hoping for animals, nothing! When I set out to go do a mission and aim for ducks, deer are everywhere! The only takeaway from this I can give is to forget aiming for even trying to hunt and do something dumb or just walk to a mission goal. It seems to work!
