In the movie Wall-E, there's a cool detail about Earth's cleanup plan. So, even though it's not spelled out in the movie, the initial idea was for robots to work for five years, squishing all the garbage into a small size. Then, they'd move on to burning the trash. However, there was way more garbage than expected, so they never got to phase 2. That's why Wall-E ended up doing the same job for 700 years! While all the other bots were shut down. He kinda got forgotten and had to fend for himself. Over time, he became really good at fixing himself using spare parts he found and even developed a sort of thinking ability. Now, that's job dedication!
