THE SILVERSMITH AND THE PROPHET | Assassin's Creed Unity | PART 4
8Arno returns to the council members and tells them that the King of Beggars and Sivert were sent by their Grand Master to kill De La Serre. He also tells them about the pin with which he was killed, made by a silversmith named Germain. The council then asks Arno to carry on the mission.
Arno sneaks into Les Halles and finds Francois-Thomas Germain in house arrest. He carefully sneaks Germain out of there to safety. In return, Germain tells Arno that he made that pin some years ago for a man called Lafreniere, a Templar.
Arriving at the Holy Innocents' Cemetery, Arno carefully plans out and waits patiently for Lafreniere to come. When he arrives, Arno assassinates Chretien Lafreniere. It is then revealed that Lafreniere was welcomed by Grand Master De La Serre and he didn't trust Mirabeau like De La Serre did. Also, it was him who had written the letter of caution which was supposed to be delivered the day De La Serre was murdered. He was planning to attack Hotel de Beauvais that night.
