The Simpsons game is an action adventure game developed and published by Electronic Arts. It was first released on October 30th 2007 for many platforms.

The Simpsons game is an action adventure game where the player controls different members of the Simpsons family depending on the mission. It is a story line based game with the objective being mainly to progress to the end of the level. All the characters have super powers which is discovered by Bart that can be used to defeat enemies in each level. Gameplay is in third person and the combat system is hand to hand as this is the main form of combat to defeat enemies with. Most levels have an AI buddy, often another member of the Simpsons family who accompanies the player through the level. In between each mission the player can free roam around Springfield with each character.
