๐ฎ THE SIMPSONS: VIRTUAL SPRINGFIELD Game Review | Bottom of the Dumpster Fire #Shorts
A virtual Springfield featuring The Simpsons? Can you believe the marvels that we're blessed with thanks to CD-based technology?
The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield was a game released in 1997, developed by Digital Evolution and Fox Interactive, which was basically a game where you explored a town and watched as The Simpsons do the funny thing. Except they actually got the voice actors and put in dozens, if not hundreds of callbacks. I also consider this version of the map canon. On top of that, even though it wasn't the same writers, The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield is funnier than Simpsons is nowadays. So, uh, that's a shame.
Actually, if you're still reading the description, here's a fun fact. I made a game review of The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield a few years ago where I gave it a legit score: 4*. Out of 5 if you love the Simpsons, and out of 10 if the novelty wears out. It's gorgeous, but this isn't really that good of a game. Sorry.
