Hello and welcome to BakieGaming.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to add Dynamic Light to Clothing. This way you're making some sort of permanent or flashing light effect on your clothing.
In this tutorial, I will use my dds and psd file that I made in my "How to add an image to clothing" Tutorial. So if you don't know how to do that, I recommend watching that tutorial first.
I will show you step by step how to use The Sims 4 Studio in combination with Photoshop to make this kind of mod. I will also show you how it eventually will look in game.

Since there have been some changes to S4Studio since this tutorial was created, here are some steps you will have to do different then in my video:

• 1. First of all, and this counts for all my tutorial, you can almost always use PNG texture files instead of DDS, this will work much more easier. You won't need a plugin for it either.
• 2. At 2:01 minutes: Since S4S Harmony there's an emission map already added in the Studio tab under Textures. So don't click the warehouse button but skip ahead to 3:21 minutes about how to make the Emission map in Photoshop.
• 3. Then at 4.39 If you don't have an alpha layer because you're working with a PNG texture file, press the "Create New Channel button in the bar at the bottom of the Channels tab.
• 4. Finally At 5.31 save as DDS. After that go back to Studio, go to the texture section and Import your emission texture.
• 5. Click save and test it out in game.

This video tutorial would have never bin here without Untraditionalnerd's written tutorial on The Sims 4 Studio Forum.

You will need the following programs to follow this tutorial:
• The Sims 4 Base Game
• Photoshop or Gimp ( In this tutorial I'm using Photoshop)
► Gimp download link: http://www.gimp.org/
• The Sims 4 Studio. Best thing to do is download the latest stable / community tested version.
