5Remember when you were a kid and you would stay up late on Rage-mas day playing Contra with the whole family until uncle Frank threw the console at the wall for "cheating"? Me neither! Never actually played it back in the day but the sixth day of Rage-mas is about to change that!
*The Rage-mas has been celebrated for generations by playing 12 rage inducing games on the 12 days leading up to christmas. These 12 days/games are also fueled by 12 special beers.*
"Contra is a 1987 run and gun action game developed and published by Konami originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1987. A home version was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988, along with ports for various computer formats. Several Contra sequels were produced following the original game. The name of the game refers to the Contras, a group of CIA-backed Nicaraguan rebels who were frequently in the news in the United States in that period."
