At the end of last episode I discovered that Ultimate Fishing Simulator offers perks per level up that can have a helpful impact for the game. They range widely to passive aids like cost reductions in the shop for gear to active abilities like the unlock for using ice augers or more interestingly the Hunter Vision. It might feel gamey and arcadey to get an ability like that but truth be told it feels more fun to me that there are some game elements and that we can use things not possible in reality with a game like UFS.
