Experimental week as we have TWO episodes this week! In this episode I sit down with three different devs to talk about their new games, available now on the Xbox One!
First up I talk with Eduardo Jimenez, founder of Eclipse Games and the lead developer on Super Toy Cars. We talk about the game, his history in the game industry working on titles like Pure and Split/Second, and how a dev team in Spain got a punk band from Buffalo NY to lend their music for the game.
I also chat with Stuart Westphal off Hitcents, the people behind the wonderfully addictive Draw a Stickman games. We talk about the series as a whole, getting the game to transition to the Xbox One and Kinect controls, and how Stuart condemned a poor little kitten to a life of hell with an insane redneck cat woman.
Lastly I talk with David Amador, founder of Upfall Studios and the brains behind my newest unstoppable addiction, Quest of Dungeons. We talk about his gaming inspirations, making a game basically by himself for release on a console, and how goddamn much I love this fucking game. I cannot stop playing it.
Music on this show is a three pack of tunes from The Spin Wires, the Buffalo NY band featured in Super Toy Cars!
The Spin Wires - Ignite
The Spin Wires - Girls Like You
The Spin Wires - Reckless
