Interview time once again as this episode sees me welcoming Rick Van Ginkel of Self Made Miracle and Benjamin Claeys from Crazy Monkey Studios to talk about their titles!
Rick Van Ginkel is up first to talk about the new title Penarium, a game about a boy named Willy who was abducted into a sadistic carnival of death and murder. And it's super happy about it. Like, bright colors and balloon and happy stuff all around. We talk about the upbeat style of the game, the crazy traps, how the music drove absent co-host Kris insane, and how I'm somehow future Willy!
Next I talk with Benjamin Claeys to discuss Guns, Gore & Cannoli, a throwback to games like Metal Slug and Contra but in a gorgeous HD visual style that harkens back to the days of the 1920's prohibition era, but with zombies. There's always zombies. We talk about the visuals of the game, the various weaponry, and ideas for a future sequel and/or DLC package with aliens and sonic blasters and all that jazz. Oh, and there's a friggin secret cheat code in the game?? HELP US FIND IT!
