This week we welcome in game developer Jay Adoloye, CEO of Drop Dead Interactive, to NOT talk about his upcoming Xbox One game Gear Gauntlet because it got delayed so we just talk about other crap now instead.
In addition to not talking about Gear Gauntlet but still somehow talking about Gear Gauntlet, we obviously discuss Halo 5 as it came out this week and because it was after midnight for Jay, he played it the entire episode to stay awake. And he somehow got better at the game by talking to us, so it's scientific proof that The SML Podcast makes you better at playing Halo. Confirmed. Suck it Mythbusters.
Other topics we discuss include Layers of Fear and other horror titles, indie game development and those titles being more innovative, people who don't use their goddamn headsets in games that require communications, hate playing Guitar Hero Live, and plenty more! The person responsible for the mistake has been shot) from developer Larian Studios and published by Maximum Games and Focus Home Interactive is a new release of the original acclaimed PC game now on console. It is incredibly overwhelming to play, but equally rewarding and deep and if you put the time and effort into the game, you will be graced with an incredible RPG experience! Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations developed by Vicious Cycle and published by Little Orbit takes the Adventure Time franchise, gives it a gorgeous 3D visual makeover, and puts you to work solving a variety of mysteries. Imagine the recent Sherlock Holmes titles, but add Adventure Time's humor and style and you've got a great idea of what the game is and why it's worth your time.
