This week we welcome Don Thacker and Kazuo Mayeda of Imagos Softworks to the show!

Don and Kazuo join us to chat about their new Steam release Starr Mazer: DSP, a horizontal shmup with rogue-lite elements and an insane cast of characters who will assuredly die near immediately. Don and Kaz talk about their past working together, past projects, their upcoming adventure style Starr Mazer game, and tons of general insanity. I think Don is going to be a new fan favorite.

After Don and Kazuo head out, we cover tons of recent news including the October lineup of PlayStation Plus, Forza Horizon 3 expansion pass plans, Shovel Knight in Yooka Laylee, Campo Santo working on a Firewatch feature film, Super Mega Baseball 2 news from Metalhead Software, and more No Man's Sky controversey. Plus some huge new games added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility lineup including TWO Call of Duty Games and the long awaited JRPG masterpiece Lost Odyssey! Plus Featured Games!

Payday 2: The Big Score DLC from Overkill Software and 505 Games brings a ton of DLC and free updates and content to Xbox One and PS4 giving the game new life for console gamers. The Bunker from Splendy Games and Wales Interactive is a live action adventure game of a man alone in a nuclear bunker. Virginia from Variable State and 505 Games is a first person, story driven game with a crazy story told through zero dialog. Toy Odyssey from Hiker Games and Digital Smash is a Metroidvania style game with roguelike elements in a world of toys come to life.

Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity from Ankake Spa and XSEED Games is a fan made action RPG in the bullet hell Touhou universe. Mount and Blade: Warband from TaleWorlds Entertainment and Koch Media is a gigantic action RPG with massive battles and zero hand holding. Clustertruck from Landfall Game and tinyBuild is a chaotic truck based platformer...truckformer? Demon Truck fro Triger Mountain and Adventurepro Games is a crazy arcade style shooter of a truck driving to Hell. Uneaten Lake writes in his review of Eventide: Slavic Fable, another fantastic hidden object adventure game from Artifex Mundi and The House of Fables.

Finally, we end the show with [REDACTED] as well as two songs from our own Kris Huber including a track from the brand new Tribute Album 64 release!
