Big week this week as we welcome a brand new guest to the show instead of our usual rag tag band of boners. Kory Caldwell, one of the guys behind The Players' Score: A Video Game Music Documentary, joins us to talk about his project!
We start off innocently enough as we talk about planning the movie, getting interview subjects (including Jake Kaufman, ARMCANNON, The OneUps, and more friends of SML), Kickstarter progress, and much more. Then, we go off course. Frequently. We eventually devolve into talking about getting intimate with furniture and I don't remember how it happened.
As per usual we also discuss what we've been playing recently and given the HUGE releases that came this week, we obviously discuss Forza Horizon 2 and Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor, as well as Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes, Diablo III, Hohokum, and... Little Red Riding Hood Zombie BBQ? Yeah.
And of course, it's SML, so when the subject of Sony vs. Microsoft comes up, we take the opportunity to convince a next-gen newbie to not blindly jump to the PS4 given the hardware issues we've repeatedly discussed on the show.
Lastly, on a bittersweet note, after a falling out with a friend over the direction of the site, I can no longer guarantee this podcast appearing on Save/Continue, a site I named and helped found.
