The Sound of Silence - A Conrado "Charry" Garcia Cover
Conrado "Charry" Garcia, performing a one-man cover of "The Sound of Silence" in the courtyard of a shop at the Texas Renaissance Festival.
I couldn't cut the shop noise and such from the footage, as I just don't have the software for it, so apologies for that, though I am happy with how clearly the audio of his performance came through, considering just how much ambient noise there was at the time.
Check this guy out. Seriously. If you enjoyed this at all, considering purchasing some of his work for yourself. I'm not sponsored to say that; I just really want to see this man - a self-made musician from Chile with a tangible passion for his craft - succeed in supporting himself further through his music.
I overheard a person ask him shortly after this performance, "How can you do that, playing so many instruments at once? I play the guitar, and it's hard enough just concentrating on one."
His response: "The trick is, you have to not think about it. Feel it, you know?"
That alone earns him a great deal of respect from me.
