Today, Arden reviews the Spectre's first solo series, continuing his coverage with issues #6-8. The Spectre and Detective-Captain Jim Corrigan team up with a boy from Gateway City named Billy to take on a sinister being called Nawor. Then, the Spectre tells Jim Corrigan a bed time story, because what is tone, really, and finally, it becomes clear the Spectre is too powerful to craft an ongoing series. However, instead of cancelling things, or providing some kind of useless sidekick like they did in the Golden Age, Gardner Fox, Neal Adams and others try to salvage things by giving Spectre something totally new for the character - a weakness!
