Another discussion/commentary style video as promised i plan to do these every other Monday so either one each month or two each month depending on topics. I started it off initially with the Game of the Year discussion last year and then recently the state of gaming in 2022 and now the state of Red Dead Online in 2022.

Red Dead Online players have been upset with Rockstar Games for months due to not only the lackluster support of Red Dead Redemption 2's online mode, but the lack of communication from Rockstar in regards to the game. All while Rockstar finally seemed to burn bridges with the GTA community they’ve been milking for years with the release of “The definitive edition” which was a poor low effort mobile port handled by Grove street games which they’d originally removed the original version from the various games stores only to reinstate them because the definitive edition was so bad and then the release of E & E which was dubbed as expanded and enhanced and was basically just a charge from a free next gen upgrade that barely comes with the features they praised so much with modded PC versions of the game being better.

Anyways, all this frustration bubbled up and #SaveRedDeadOnline began to trend on Twitter. Since then, it's randomly trended several times and fans pushing the campaign have dominated the replies of any and all tweets from Rockstar Games. And it’s actually refreshing to see the momentum stay strong because the community finally got mainstream media to pay attention to the issue but then Rockstar did what they do and kept ignoring the community and then right before one of their earnings calls dropped some GTA 6 crumbs to distract everyone again.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a Western-themed action-adventure video game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption, and will be the third entry in the Red Dead series. Set in 1899, it follows the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Dutch Van der Linde gang. The game has new features absent from the previous game. Characters can be using a bow and arrow, dual-wielding revolvers, and using a canoe. Wildlife and hunting in the game have also improved

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a Western-themed action-adventure game set in an open world environment. It is played from either a third or first-person perspective and the player controls Arthur Morgan, an outlaw and a member of the Van der Linde gang. The game features both single-player and online multiplayer components. The game will continue to use the Honor system from its predecessor, Red Dead Redemption, which, based on how the player interacts with non-playable characters (NPCs), will affect how settlements, towns, and other groups will react towards Morgan. In 1899, the era of the Wild West is coming to an end. After a robbery in the town of Blackwater goes wrong, outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With the authorities and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal, and fight across miles of American wildness and civilization to survive. As internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must choose between his own ideals and his loyalty to the gang. Among the returning characters are John Marston and Dutch Van der Linde, the protagonist and an antagonist from the previous game, respectively.
