It looks like Valve are up to no good yet again with their Walmart-Brand Shameless Switch Clone, The Steamdeck. trying to trick Gamers with their blatant Trojan-Horse attempt, Trying to deceive would be Nintendo Fans into buying this blatant copy, but with an ulterior motive, to try and covertly invade console gamer culture and place their troops behind enemy lines, so to speak.
Then once they’ve done that, they can slowly erode away consumers choice and convenience with their digital only monopoly, giving gamers no other choice but to buy everything brand new and direct from them, forcing Brick and Mortar game stores to close and putting thousands out of work.
Trying to get rid of physical media and single player games and replacing them with online games with nothing but coop, online deathmatch and battle royale.
And trying to ruin traditionally one player games like Dead Space, Resident Evil and more. Just like EA and CapCom ruined those games with online Coop no one asked for, all to appeal to a bunch of Xbox Fanboys who 95% of them wouldn’t even buy a game like those in the first place, and the 5% who did would just play it for one day, then trade it in and go straight back to COD.
That’s what Valve tried and failed to do with the Steam Machine, and are trying to do again with the Steam Deck.
If you are thinking of buying a Nintendo Switch, buy that and not the Steam Deck, it is nothing more than a glorified Mobile Phone, which is what Gaming PCs have always been. A glorified Mobile Phone with games that look like a PSP Game if it were made by Bethesda.
A Glorified Mobile Phone to turn Handheld and Console Gaming into Mobile Gaming, with in game monetization and unskippable in game ads interrupting your game that you already payed full price for.
With Valve and Steams blatant Conspiracy and Trojan Horse attempt of announcing this just after Nintendos Switch OLED announcement to trigger PC Fanboy sleeper agents into trolling Youtube and Reddit, trying to break real gamers spirit and make us submit to their vision of what the future of gaming should be. If they get their way, all we’d be playing is Fortnite just like them.
But do not buy this Trash, this glorified mobile-phone cash grab WalMart Switch Wannabe, trying to normalize in game monetization in full priced games, and making every game clones of PUBG and Battlefield 2042!
