It’s made champions out of those who chose to blow off conventional responsibilities to chase the expectations they had of themselves. To give their heart and soul to this silly, stupid, beautiful thing that is gaming.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a twelve-year-old who just got home from school or an accountant on their lunch break, Twitch has made it so that anyone can, open their browser, pop open a tab, and spend some time with someone they look up to.

And, for a lot of people, that’s a really powerful thing.
