The story runs deeper in GONE HOME | Part 2
0So, pressing F8 crashes the game; that's what I discovered. Although that wasn't the only game I crashed yesterday, so maybe I'm just bad with ... everything?
But now we get to the theory crafting... where did the family go? Why is no one home? My previous suspicions that Lonnie and Sam are in luuuurve came true, although with a sad twist. But what abount the parents? Oh and, I happen to actually be paying enough attention to the story to understand who us who. Oscar was the grandfather, owner of the house, writer, and he passed. He bequeathed his house to his son Terence, who is also a writer, although obsessed with conspiracy theories, JFK assasinations, and the likes. We have Katie, our unspeaking Main character who explores the home. Sam, who narrates our discoveries and slowly opens up about her life and her feelings. And then, perhaps most mysterious of all, is the mother. I don't recall her name, practically no information about her....
So, what is the story about? Is Oscar's ghost really haunting the house, knocking out wires and trying to communicate? Or is this leading up to Sam running away, and her misadventures until then? Maybe the parents are gone because they have gone to find Sam? Or is it something more sinister?
I hope to find out!
