1) A train game, structures need inputs, and structures create outputs.
Rails cost, engines cost etc.
There is the sandbox mode that you just play trains and hook coal mines to coal power plants, add a little water, generate energy cubes that go to the city or to research or to more complex structures to build even more stuff.
The fun is just all over the place, sturdy engines, less costly engines but weak on hills, and you got your bullet trains. Upgrade all facilities, add more cities, more freight, and it has bounce and pace.
Unlike many train games that bog you down before you get to the cheeze, RailGrade gets you moving right in the tutorial and sets the stage for the more competitive player or the story driven sort.
Me I jumped into the sandbox after the tutorial and have a big planet exploitation and colony going on. You can build on the side of hills, feel free to build a miles long trestle spanning three ridge lines, and the game sounds are spot on.

If you like Dystopika or just playing without conquering u can find this enjoyable on the other side if u like perfect harmony and want to sort out traffic with no stops only switches this is the ultimate test. You can do quite a bit with directing traffic dont get me wrong u need patience and a good eye for the future. It has test of the new manager to make mad profit so efficiency cuts cost, and so on. The game does have a humor to it and the running gag of never getting promoted does not get old.
I would say Dystopika and this are the same chill vibe you can play the game but u can also just play ya feel me
