With The Surge being free on PSN this month, I took it on and quickly found the grind to level up. Luckily I found this quick trick right near the beginning to gather scrap quick and easy. I've written the instructions here to, because my mics broke!

It's super simple. Do a quick run around the enemies decapitating as you go along. In the bottom right where it tells you the Tech Scrap you've gained, it also gives you a multiplier. The max is 3, but when you go back to the MedBay, it removes is.

ALWAYS go to the Gear Assembly point to bank your Tech Scrap! THIS DOESN'T REMOVE YOUR MULTIPLIER! But it does respawn all the enemies meaning you can do your run again, and again!
