Description
The Surge is a science fiction, action role-playing video game developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is considered a spiritual successor to Deck13 Interactive's earlier action role-playing game Lords of the Fallen, with which it shares many gameplay features. Deck13 Interactive described the game as inspired by Rise of the Robots and the Souls series. The game was released in May 2017.
Story
The game takes place in a dystopian future where mankind has exhausted the world's resources, leading to strained social service and environmental diseases. According to the developers, the game paints a grim portrait of the future where the evolution of technology in relation to society and the environment has led to a decadent era for humanity.
Gameplay
The Surge is designed in the challenging role-playing game style of the Souls series of games. The gameplay involves players using an exoskeleton to battle enemies. The exoskeleton can be customized through the game using "modular upgrades", according to the developer. The combat allows players to target different body parts of enemies, as well as utilize finishing moves often ending in dismemberment in bullet time fashion.
Throughout this LP (Let's Play) I will be informing you on my First Impression, thoughts and a little review of what I think of the game. I will be playing it in its highest quality minimum for any game is 720p and highest at the moment for me will be 1080p HD. The Consoles I will playing these games between are the PS4 sometimes PS3. XBOXONE and also the Switch sometimes the Wii U. If there are changes in gameplay between consoles i will mention in the video. Each LP will have Part 1 to END. There will be a Ending review. Each Series will have the full game it will also include all cutscenes all ending cutscenes. It will contain subtitles. I will try to cover as much of the secret areas throughout he game. It will mostly be single player missions. There will be some Multiplayer included for the games that have it. Mainly Story mode. Part 1 will always contain the Intro Cutscene.
