This is how to take down P.A.X. in order to get the Imperator V2 weapon. This fight takes place in New Game Plus but works the same regardless of difficulty.

Character level: 91

The gear I used for the fight:
Proteus set upgraded to Mk 6 - This helps with amplifying heals.
Claws of Gestalt Mk 5 - Twin Rigged for speed and high damage. But experiment because your proficiency will have a marked effect as well.
Auto Injector Mk 5 - Two of these for 6 full heals.
Plasmic Regenerator Mk 5 - One of these for 3 quick regen heals.
Various implants to taste.

I would suggest stamina implants as well because there will be lots of dodging and running to avoid the missile volleys and you need enough left to fight when you get close again.

I only figured out that there were special ways of defeating bosses for special gear at just about at the end of my first play through. As a result, future videos will also be the new game plus fights. I look forward to posting more.
