In this Skul the Hero Slayer video, I'll be using the Swordsman! This is the bleed representative skull in the game, who is meant to be used with the Excessive Bleeding status. Excessive Bleeding is an extremely inconsistent archetype in this game that very easily ends with your runs feeling underwhelming, and only really pops off with the strongest possible outcomes, such as Miracle Grail and the Bleed Curse. However...to get these things on a run means you need so much luck all at the same time, and the odds of this happening are low. So, if I'm going to play the Swordsman, why not just avoid Bleed entirely? Focus on Swordsman's strengths, such as his powerful DPS skills? He's also a balance skull which has perks with mixed damage runs and Bone of Mana! Stuff like this, in my opinion, are the less obvious redeeming qualities of this skull. We'll bring along Soldier as the partner, to further test the limits of this skull, and what makes him good and bad. How will this run turn out?
