A game based on 2008 movie The Tale of Despereaux developed by Brash Entertainment and published by Sensory Sweep Studios.

Remember when I said that the PS2 port of this game got the worst control? Well...for once, movement is a bit out of control. Yes, PC had a bit of problem with the movement control too but not to this extent. If you press forward, Despereaux will sometimes make go forward from the position he is in (For example, running and gliding while he is facing the camera. He didn't turn around to make his back on the camera when you press forward but continue going closer to the camera angle for example). Also, angle problem just like in the PC version. You need to angle yourself before jumping or you will fall down instead of landing on where you want him to land.

Unlike PC, the button for sneak especially if you're playing on the emulator where you use keyboard instead of joypad is merged in the PS2. In PC, press left Alt + WASD movement to tiptoe but here...tilt the left stick a bit where you used it to move Despereaux lightly to tiptoe which is impossible to do especially from the keyboard (Mind you, I bet that it's hard to do that with the joystick too). Characters sometimes lack voice in some dialogues and graphic details are worse than in the PC version (Not to mention...the graphic detail of the cat in the arena for this PS2 version made its body looks blocky). Despereaux looks graphically creepy in PS2 than the PC version (The graphic details of his model in the PC made him look cute I admit compared to this)
