It was Bradford City’s first season back in the big time and they were hanging on the edge of safety going into the final day. They needed to better Wimbledon’s score on the final day, a Wimbledon side who travelled to Southampton whilst Bradford entertained the Champions League chasing Liverpool. Would Liverpool oust Leeds from the Champions League? Would Wimbledon stay in business? Would Bradford City return to the promised land?
