Do I give them German accents because it improves the reading, or do I just really want an excuse to play with a German accent? I'm not sure.

Donuts are cooler. And Doughnuts are the coolest of all.
Also, Netherlandic really is the way Dutch people prefer to be called. Which has now become what I call them, though before this story I called them Dutch. It's all cool though, because as far as I have been able to determine the Netherlandic people are pretty chill about this kind of thing. So long as you're trying to be respectful then you're good.
Now I kinda wish I knew someone Netherlandic, just to verify the stuff I read on Wikipedia. Who knows, maybe I do. We've already established I don't know the accent, and if their family has lived in America for a generation or two I'd never know a thing unless it came up.
