This is something I've been meaning to do Travel Runner's Time Mile Challenge since October. Every time I tried to use the local high school track, something came up, either with my schedule or that school's.

Anyway, for 2019, the Travel Runner did a timed one mile once a month. You should check out his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/travelrunner .

I actually surprised myself with my time. I am nowhere in the shape I used to be and I have slowed down quite a bit over the past two years, but I did manage to see where I could be if I built a proper speed and endurance workout regime.
