DarkSwitch is a settlement survival game set in a dark fantasy world where a terrible fog haunts the land, so we take refuge in a gigantic tree!

Our role is to investigate and research the fog, which seems to send people mad if they're exposed to it too long and also is capable of destroying entire buildings.

On our tree we build on the ground but also we build vertically around the side of the tree, with everything connecting together with little ladders and walkways! We build homes, mushroom foraging posts, research buildings, kitchens, all that kind of stuff.

We also get to explore the world around the tree with our scouts, discovering all sorts of things like forests, curious beasties and even survivors who can join us if we let them!

As we play various choices need to be made, many of which can be quite difficult, and things are complicated when some religious fanatic types turn up and start interrogating our people with the Machine of Truth...

NOTE: This is a preview build of the game.
