DM Notes: As you saw (or will see) at the end, I came into this fight strapped and ready for whatever strategies or combat speeds the party could throw at me. I also took advantage of the death slaad's invisibility feature to slot it in the moment it was clear that we were on the last fight of the night. I considered (briefly) letting the fight continue on so we could really see what endurance was all about, but ultimately it was better for me and for the players to move on to more interesting trials.
