"The Trolls in Crazyland" is a side-scrolling platformer game released for the NES in 1991. It
is a heavily modified adaptation of the Japanese game "Doki! Doki! Yūenchi: Crazy Land Daisakusen", also known as "Thump Thump Amusement Park: Crazy Land Tactics". The title was changed to "The Trolls in Crazyland", featuring a troll from the popular Norfin Troll toy line as the main character for its release on the NES in PAL territories.

The gameplay consist of players navigating through various stages, defeating enemies using a basic projectile attack. The weapon's power and range increase inversely proportional to the player's health, which makes for an interesting and unique gameplay mechanic - by taking damage, you actually increase the power of your attack. The difficulty is well-balanced overall though, so there is no big need to try to live on the edge.

The visuals are bright and colorful, with smooth gameplay. Boss fights are the best moments in the game, being well-designed and challenging.

Overall, "The Trolls in Crazyland" may have an unusual license attached to it, but it delivers a solid platforming experience that is both lighthearted and enjoyable.
