The TRUE Reason FNAF's Puppet was Made - FNAF Theory

One common interpretation I've seen about the Puppet or Marionette animatronic in the Five Nights at Freddy franchise is that it was created in response to the death of William Afton's son, the Crying Child, in FNAF 4. However, based on the actual functions of the Puppet that we see in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, I find a different answer much more likely.
