The TRUTH Behind the Cataclysm... | Secrets of Grindea - Episode 8
After some clever juggling between the present and the past, we were able to make it past the guards barring the way to the inner city of Tai Ming. The location of Tai Ming's evil artifact, the Inner Shrine, is finally in broad view, save for one problem... the way there is blocked, and the only way we'll get there is by running some errands for the townsfolk.
While we're on the task, some significant events of the past also unfold. As we jumped about 15 years forward in time, we now get to see Zhamla Meer in his adolescence, aspiring to become the strong Collector to ever exist. And that he is, with his impressive display of strength it is clear that his power is unmatched! In contrast to his innocent childhood where he couldn't care less about collecting however, he seems to have become particularly obsessed with the cards. Did Sizou's persuasion really drive him this far to the edge...?
As you may remember from the notes in the Ancient Temple however, you should already know that Zhamla Meer is not a name that is revered in honor, but uttered with fear. And as we witness the past once again as if we were present the whole time, we also get to learn the truth behind the cataclysm - the reason why his legend became one of corruption...
