1. No Fly Zone
Area 51 is 120 miles North-west of Las Vegas and has a restricted air space of 1.2 million hectares. Its perimeter is highly guarded and trespassers may face fines, prison sentences or possibly death.
2. Job Application
To be able to work in area 51 you have to be an American citizen, have military experience, have extensive knowledge of sensitive military research, and sign a number of documents swearing you to secrecy.
3. I.F.Os
a lot of the Unidentified flying objects have actually been identified. Area 51 was a U.2 plane testing site, the U.2 flew at altitudes of 60,000ft but no one knew about them so whenever an object was sighted no one had knew what it was.
4. Bob Lazar
In 1989, Area 51 worker Bob Lazar had an interview with CBS. Lazar claimed that he had been working on an alien aircraft with a group of physicists. This aircraft allegedly was the one to have crashed in Roswell in 1947.
5. Air force clarification
In 1994, the US Air Force "clarified" the Bob Lazar interview, claiming that the aircraft Lazar was working on was the one from the Roswell crash in 1947 but that aircraft was part of a classified government project named "Project Mogul" and that the only thing recovered were balloon parts and radar reflectors.
6. C.I.A.
In 2005, the C.I.A. released declassified documents were they acknowledged the existence of Area 51 revealing, that it was indeed a secret military base, where spy planes like the U-2, A-12, and the F-117 were developed and tested, and that the secrecy was necessary to prevent important information reaching the soviets.
7. Rebellion
In September 2019, 2 million people signed up for an event called "Storm Area 51, They can't stop all of us." The US air force said it was aware of the event and they were willing to stand ready and protect Americas assets.
Only 200 people turned up for the event, and there were 3 arrests, one for crossing the No-Entry signage, one for indecent exposure and one was alcohol-related.
8. Area 51 is Growing
According to satellite imagery, Area 51 has grown significantly since 1984. as well as growing in size, infrastructure has been added for runways and extra hangers have been built.
9. Area 52
Despite the secrecy, the whole world has heard about Area 51 but not many have heard about Area 52, a far more secretive site that is just 70 miles North-west of Area 51.
10. Lunar Landing?
Although most of the alien conspiracy theory's for this Area have been quashed, one theory that continues to grow is that of the 1969 lunar landing. Many people claim that it was faked in Area 51 by NASA officials in order to swindle $30 billion.
