This project highlights how a lot of people are actually living spiritually dead and blinded by their own sin and pride. my collection of verses, in chronological order express Biblical truth, knowledge, and wisdom as opposed to the common belief system, knowledge, culture, and worldly wisdom of man. There is a major contrast between the duality of the heaven and earth or the physical and spiritual will be presented together as mono and woodblock print spreads. The two trees from the Bible illustrate how man rebelled against God in search of knowledge of Good and Evil forbidden to humanity. Man desired to be like God so he was deceived by the enemy to eat from the tree. However, the tree of life is what makes us closer to God, reading the Bible, prayer, seeking Biblical knowledge and wisdom, bearing Good fruit, fearing God almighty and loving God with all your heart and Soul. One of the final solutions for my project are a video that allows a controlled flow of the overall narrative and the second solution is a physical storybook for the audience to engage with up close. The two panels will represent the antithesis of the Christian world view and the pagan world view. Organic harmony and tranquility contrasts with the multi layered bombardment of chaos and sin. Ultimately, my aim is to help people recognise God's hand and challenges the viewer's current belief system and values, as well as raising awareness of Biblical truth.
