In this video, I go over how to Install an M.2 SSD in the PS5. Start by taking off the top cover by pulling up on the corner of the PS5 with the Playstation logo, then pull down toward the bottom of the console. then flip the console over, pull up on the corner of the console, diagonal from the disk drive. Unscrew the cover, covering the M.2 slot. Then take out the screw holding the standoff in place. measure the length of your SSD and find the right spot to put the standoff. Insert the SSD, it will be installed correctly if the back of the SSD is inclined up a bit. Then put the screw back and re attach the side covers.
