I played the demo a few times, and I was happy to cover the full game. I did receive a free copy from the developer.
The game takes place in the quickly fracturing mind of Michael, and the narrative does an exceptional job of dealing with the problem of trying to suppress your emotions that are negative. Things build up over time, and eventually reach a breaking point. The game handles this tastefully, and I was very impressed with the way it all played out.
Gameplay consists of some puzzle platforming in a variety of rooms. It's linear in fashion, but you do have a few areas you can explore to find secrets and robots that you can collect. Attention to detail is important, and if you find yourself stuck(like I did) just take a step back and look around the level. It's almost certain you've overlooked something.
There are some timing requirements, but I felt they were pretty generous. There are also a few levels with obstacles that make things a bit difficult, but once again they are relatively easy to navigate once you get the pattern down.
Graphically the game looks rather unique and pretty great. Colors are limited, but the detail and lighting really bring it together into a really nicely developed world.
Voice acting is quite good, sound effects hit perfectly, and the soundtrack fits the game perfectly.
Overall the game will probably take you an hour or less to finish. If I hadn't been stuck for a bit, I think I'd of finished the game in about 45 minutes. The pacing is great, and the time kind of flies by. I don't know that there's a ton of replay value, but it's an experience I'm glad to have had. Definitely recommended.
