"The Untouchables" for the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) is an action-packed video game released in 1989 by Ocean Software. It is based on the 1987 crime film "The Untouchables," directed by Brian De Palma and featuring Kevin Costner, Sean Connery, and Robert De Niro.
Levels vary between shooting guys in windows, a side-scrolling level shooting certain people carrying evidence, rolling around on the ground shooting whiskey bottles and a level where the objective is the protect a baby carriage. The plot of the game follows the movie for the most part, with some liberties taken to make certain scenes into more playable sections.
If Ness dies, he has his unit, Malone, Stone, and Wallace to back him up (which means three extra lives). Overall, it's a very short shooting game that doesn't stand out in any way except that it's a game based on a popular movie.
