This is my reaction some Prager U Kids videos.

Virtue Signaling is when a person who is in certain groups will lie about knowing someone in an opposing group. The biggest offenders are sometimes done due to political views.

I had a problem with this since I was 6 and when my mom would help fight for the rights for students with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and more. She and many other advocates have had to talk about it and been victim to it.

It's a community issue in many groups who face opposition. The ones using it will blanket with terms, "I have a friend who....(insert the type of virtue signaling friend stigma here), they understand I will....(insert objection and reason)."

Answer to the problem is to not acknowledge the friendship or condone their contrary behavior.
