Lee and Doug clear the street outside the Drug store of zombies by switching on the TVs across the street and smashing the window with a brick. The noise then lures the zombies over. Afterwards, Lee makes his way across the street to his brother, Bud Everett. Lee does what he can to make peace with his brother before killing him and retrieving the pharmacy keys. With the keys, Lee and Lilly head into the pharmacy but unintentionally trigger the store's alarm and drawing a horde to the store. The group plan a hasty getaway, and the player must decide whether they want to save Carley or Doug. Then just as he's about to leave Lee gets punched in the face by Larry and is left for dead. At the very last second, Kenny returns and rescue Lee. The remaining survivors make their way to the Travelier Motel. Glenn decides to head to Atlanta after hearing the conditions there have worsened while the rest of the group decide to fortify the Motel until help arrives.
This is the ending to Episode 1 entitled A New Day. Telltale Games will be releasing the remaining 4 episodes monthly.
